Weapons related skills, they do have party/army buffs that makes your units stronger, so there is a point. So I do go after them eventually, but I don't think I've ever leveled them up as much as I do with party/army focused skills. Horse archery skills that increase accuracy is really nice though.

Hey all, I have over 3k hours sunk into warband and recently decided bannerlord was close enough to full release to give it a shot. Most of the game is familiar enough but I've been a little stumped when it comes to assigning attribute points and in general having a clear understanding of how many different skill trees I can max before hitting the xp wall.

You need to hit enemies with attacks while riding. Using a bow seems to increase it a lot more quickly than melee attacks. Just ride fast and make sure you get guys. An easy way to "grind" it is to fight larger groups of looters, leave your troops stationary at the start, and ride circles around them while shooting. WKGPL.
