Performance Air Filter Fits Fiat Punto /Grande 1.4L TURBO T-JET (Years 06/07>) (Fits: Fiat Punto 2004) AIRTEC Intercooler Upgrade for Fiat Punto Abarth 1993-2018. MuchBoost 1.4TB/T-Jet 220. Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated ~220HP at the crank. List of modifications: Upgraded journal bearings system that allows the turbo to hold more boost, More efficient and larger Billet Compressor Wheel, Clipped and Lightened Turbine Wheel, Genuine Garrett compressor housing, Genuine Garrett bearing housing, Advised by dealer I had suffered a turbo failure and this tends to happen to these cars at my mileage of 70,000. Cost me £987 for a reconditioned turbo. I suspect it was due to oil starvation. Now have a car with oil drink problem with unidentified cause and a loud booming noise coming from engine which dealer again can't identify.
Hey all, wonderin if any1 could help me, ive read a few things about doin the t-jet/abarth turbo swap on the GP's. But im still a lil confuddled, can i jus swap it, reset the ECU n then carry as normal until i can get a remap or is it gonna be lumpy as ****? and do i need ter get an intercooler
Hi all, I now own a modified t-jet to about 200hp and i have to by a new car for my job I am thinking of subaru impreza 2015 1.6l or mitsubishi lancer 1.6l also (as we have a very high customs on engines higher than 1.6) and i will convert them after few years to WRX or Ralliart what do you Thats what I thought too but standard my car was 124bhp with forge induction. Different places give different figures, doesnt mean my car is slower than a red dot remap, which there standard power and remap power seem to be high when rolling roaded there. Its about how there rolling road is Hey guys was just wondering what's the best turbo upgrade for the 1.3m jet I'm presuming the turbo from the 1.9 but can you use the original manifold or the manifold from the 1.9?
