The gameplay gets much better. 2016 felt like they had a lot of recruits that didn't want to "play" the game and shamed people like Nick for trying to play. There's a bit of shaming certain players in 2017 for playing a bit too hard to start the game, but overall far more of the cast came to play and it shows.
