The GS-911 will NOT reset the low fuel light. It can only be done by shorting a pin on the diagnostic connector when you have 1 gallon (or level of your choice) of fuel in the tank. This is good for all years of LT. 1. Empty the tank and fill it with 1 gallon (or your desired quantity).

It's actually fairly matched with the Ducati when riding fast and will walk away from the GSA 1200, VFR and Tenere if it has the room to stretch its legs. It also doesn't feel as wide as a GSA when you are on it and its a bit shorter as well. To top it off, there is a really good Triumph dealer about 40 miles away.

Good point about only being able to travel as far as the smallest tank in the group. It's also not hard to carry my one gallon fuel bladder and/or (2) 1L MSR fuel bottles in the Mosko Aux Pockets. That's and added 1.5gal of fuel, puts it within 70-ish miles of range to the GSA and no added cost or weight penalty. Hmmmm..
